The company provides practical, detail-focused assistance with forms and applications, court-related paperwork for self-represented litigants, immigration and citizenship documentation support, and process serving. FormAlly also offers proofreading and copy editing, professional letter writing (including requests, complaints, explanations, and formal correspondence), and simple static website building for clients who need a credible, professional online presence without technical complexity.
2. Do you only work with individuals?
No, we work with individuals, lawyers, law firms, government agencies, and businesses.
3. Are you a lawyer?
No, we are not lawyers and do not provide legal advice, opinions, or representation. Our role is to assist self-represented individuals with the administrative and procedural side of their paperwork.

While we are not lawyers and can’t provide legal advice or representation, we are here to help with the administrative and procedural side of your paperwork. If we believe your situation would benefit from a lawyer’s expertise—especially for complex matters like wills, estates, or powers of attorney—we’ll let you know and help point you in the right direction.
5. Can you give me legal advice or help with a dispute or appeal?
No. We can explain the requirements and process for your forms, but we cannot interpret the law, tell you what legal strategy to take, or represent you in legal proceedings. If you need that type of help, we’ll recommend consulting a lawyer.
6. What types of forms can you help with?
We can assist with a wide range of forms, including: pension applications (CPP, OAS), citizenship and immigration paperwork, government benefits, insurance and investment applications, family law forms, and general administrative forms.
7. Do you fill out the forms for me?
Yes, we can either guide you step-by-step or complete the forms on your behalf, based on the information you provide.
8. Can you file my documents for me?
In most cases, yes. Depending on the form’s requirements, we can file them electronically, send them by mail on your behalf, or provide instructions so you can submit them yourself.
9. How do you ensure my information is safe?
We strictly follow Canadian privacy laws and take every precaution to keep your information secure and confidential.
10. How much do your services cost?
We offer flat-fee pricing so you know the cost upfront—no hourly billing or surprise charges. Pricing depends on the type and complexity of the form.
11. How much is your process serving fee?
We charge a flat rate of $75 for service within Hamilton proper (mileage included). For locations outside Hamilton proper, an additional $0.65/km applies.
12. How many attempts at service are included?
Our fee includes up to three attempts, plus preparation and signing of your affidavit(s) of service by a Commissioner of Oaths. Additional attempts, if required, are $40 each.
13. When do you make the first attempt at serving?
Our first attempt is made within 48 hours for addresses located in Hamilton proper.
14. Do you offer rush service?
Yes. Rush service means we’ll attempt service within 12 hours of your request. An additional fee of $40 applies.
15. Will you guarantee that my form will be approved?
No. We can make sure your forms are complete, accurate, and meet submission requirements, but final approval is always at the discretion of the reviewing agency.
16. What do you charge to file documents?
We charge $30 for online filing and $40 for in-person filing.
17. Do you file at out-of-town courthouses?
Yes, we do. We’ll be happy to provide a quote based on the specific court location.
18. Will you deal directly with the agency reviewing my form?
We can communicate with agencies to confirm submission requirements and processes, but we do not act as your legal representative or argue your case for you.
19. Do you only work with people in my area?
No, we work with clients anywhere through phone, e-mail or video meetings.
20. Are there any additional fees I should know about?
Service fees do not include court filing fees, which must be paid separately in advance. If we need to print hard copies of documents sent electronically, a $0.20/page fee applies. You will always be notified in advance if additional costs are required.
